As you can see from the copyright page, this is the first printing of the first edition.This book is unread and in brand new, excellent condition, with no major defects apparent to me. Please see the pictures for details. The pages are a crisp white with still-bold, unfaded coloring, there are no loose pages, and the book-mark ribbon is still attached. The page edges are gilt with a gold leaf, which is rare for copies of this edition - most copies I\'ve seen have had the gilt worn away years ago. I\'ve seen many copies of this rare edition over the years, this is by far one of the best-conditioned copies I\'ve come across. Per rules, payment is expected within 4 days of the sale end, and I will ship within 3 business days of receiving payment - if payment is received by early evening, usually most items will ship the next business day (including Saturdays). Free shipping will be done via Media Mail in the lower 48 states. Customers from other states (or countries) can inquire for a shipping quote, but it will be more expensive.If a delivery cannot be made by the post office and the item is automatically returned by mail, I am willing to attempt a second shipment - however, the buyer will have to pay for the actual shipping cost of this second attempt (even if the first delivery was made via a \"Free Shipping\" option or a combined shipping discount was applied for the initial shipment).If an item is damaged in transit or does not otherwise match the original item description, I will provide a full refund - customer satisfaction is important to me. However, all items should be returned in the condition in which they were received.
