A set of ancient Ukrainian postcards with views and frescoes of the St. Vladimir\'s Cathedral \"Володимирський Собор\", which is located in the capital of Ukraine - the city of Kyiv.
Vladimir Cathedral is one of the pearls of Kyiv architecture and a witness to historical events in Kyiv and Ukraine. The construction of this temple was dedicated to the baptism of Rus\' and its baptist Vladimir the Great. This cathedral was built exclusively with donations from ordinary Orthodox Kiev residents and patrons of the arts living in Kyiv. To participate in painting the walls of the cathedral, philanthropist Adrian Prakhov invited the best artists - Viktor Vasnetsov, Mikhail Nesterov, Mikhail Vrubel, Pavel Svedomsky, Wilhelm Kotarbinsky. Ukrainian artists from the icon-painting workshop of Alexander Ivanovich Murashko, including his son Alexander Murashko, as well as graduates of the “N. Murashko Drawing School” Sergei Kostenko, Nikolai Pymonenko, Nikolai Ivanovich Murashko, Alexander Murashko Sr.’s brother, Victor, also worked on the design of the Vladimir Cathedral. Zamirailo, Stepan Yaremich.The set consists of 12 postcards and a super cover.
