Splendid flight of 10 Morpho Didius butterflies from Peru - The Blue Giant - naturalized in a very large frame with acrylic glass anti UV and black lacquered wood on a black background.
Origin: South America
The quality of the finish makes it a real decorative object which can be placed on a piece of furniture or fixed to the wall (see photos).
The butterflies come from breeding farms and are of exceptional A1 quality. Magnificent reflections!

Morpho Didius- The Blue Giant Morpho
The Morpho or Morphidae are a relatively small family of butterflies comprising around 80 species in total, all confined to the Neotropical region. The incredible intense reflective quality of the wings of this Didius species is structural and therefore does not alter when exposed to light for long periods of time. All species of Morphidae have developed a series of eyespots or ocelli on the underside of the wings which, combined with their dull appearance on the underside, can act as camouflage in the jungle.
