These copper crystals are from the Chino Mine in Santa Rita, Grant County, New Mexico, USA. They are from the 2006 find by Stan Esbenshade. He found a boulder that had some partially exposed crystals and then carefully leached and trimmed hundreds of copper specimens from it. This is a formation of complex and spinel twinned copper crystals. It measures approximately 1 3/4 x 1 1/8 x 3/4 inches or 45 x 28 x 20 mm as displayed in photo 1.All photos are taken under 60 watt Daylight CFL bulbs unless stated otherwise. Colors may vary slightly when viewed under different light sources.
