It has a relatively unusual square design, and a 5-stage FM rod antenna is housed diagonally on the back. This type of diagonal storage is quite rare, and this is the only model I remember from my childhood.
The output of the 5cm alnico pot-shaped magnetic circuit speaker is not listed in the catalog, but I think it\'s around 0.3W.
This type uses a 9V square battery, which is becoming less common these days, and it may become difficult to obtain batteries in the future.
Although it is a popular version, the performance is comparable to the Sony 4500, which was a top seller at the time. The difference from the 4500 is the design and the number of transistors is one less, so I think this one is actually better as a portable radio.
The antenna is also original, but the red plastic ball at the tip is missing, so I replaced it with an aluminum pipe. Also, the plating around the tuning scale was peeling off, so I painted it with metallic silver.
