One side of the handle has a very shallow parabolic reflective surface that is able to focus the sun\'s energy to a singular point above the knife to ignite combustible materials to start a campfire. End of handle has a small round cutout which allows the user to make a precise tinder holder arm by mounting a branch or twig to hold tinder at the exact focus point.
Knife may also be used as traditional knife for cutting or chopping.
