Smash Comics #8 CGC 1.5 (Quality 1940) Golden Age Robot Cover Rare 1/8 EisnerRare copy of Smash Comics #8, featuring multiple stories including Bozo the Robot! Contributors to this issue including legendary Will Eisner. Lower grade, but presents much better - is slabbed / graded to preserve and to give assurance the book is complete and with no restoration. Book is nearly 85 years old - just not something you\'ll see every day. Is a Gerber 6, suggesting less than 100 copies may exist. One of just 8 total CGC graded copies. There hasn\'t been a recorded sale of any graded copy in over 7 years.This book was not cleaned or pressed before submitting.
I will make a note and take pics on the rare occasion I post a slab with a crack or break. Otherwise the slabs are nice = (minor scuffs, typical with age or shipping, CGC/CBCS “allowable” stuff like newton rings, weld seams, scuffs from shipping etc)…. to flawless.
