This is a fabulous Sloan Dalton Point arrowhead, found in Carroll County, Arkansas along Osage Creek.It dates between 8000 BC - 7200 BC, the ate Paleo to early Archaic periods.It measures 4 3/8\" long x 1 1/4\" wide & is made of grey/tan chert.Graded as a G-9, with only one minor ding. It has a fantastic patina. It has been anciently re-sharpened.Ex: Roy Hathcock.Pictured in the book \"The Hathcock Collection\" By: Toney Aid.This piece would make a great addition to any stone collection.
