This Listing is for an ALPH GIROUX PARIS Gilt Bronze FRAME. The French Rococo style frame has anEasel supporting Leg on the Back.ALPH GIROUX PARIS is engraved on the back of the frame.The Glass Covered Opening is for a picture measuring 3 ½” inches x 2 ½” inches.
The Frame is in Great Shape looking very Vibrant and Clean. The only small Areas where the Gilt has comeoff is in the back where you can see a bit of the Bronze underneath.Last point – There is a missing original screw from the back, but it does not affect at all the presentation in the front.
The Frame itself is 7” inches wide, 5 ¼” high, 3 ¼” deep.
Alphonse Giroux has been called the \"The Merchant of The Princes.” His company, Alph Giroux Paris,was an important Parisian manufacturer of luxury furniture and accessories, whose products were intended foran aristocratic and bourgeois clientele, installed as early as 1799.
