This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

100-page giant; 60-cent cover-price begins. Three new stories: \"The Golden Plague!\" Script by E. Nelson Bridwell, art by Bob Oksner. Captain Marvel Jr. stars in \"The Longest Block in the World!\" Script by Elliot Maggin, art by Dick Giordano. Captain Marvel stars in \"Mighty Master of the Martial Arts!\" Script by Maggin, pencils by Oksner, inks by Vince Colletta. Reprints: \"Mary Marvel Versus Nightowl\" (from Mary Marvel 24 in 1948), \"Uncle Marvel\'s Wedding\" (from Captain Marvel Adventures 59 in 1946), and a five-part story, \"The Sivana Family Strikes at the Marvel Family\" (from Marvel Family 10 in 1947).
