This vintage ceramic cookie jar from Service Merchandise is quite large and heavy. It is almost 7 inches wide, 9.5 inches tall, and weighs a little over 7 lbs.
The subtle impressed floral pattern on the box is covered all over in a metallic green paint, with a bright shiny gold bow on top. I love that underside of the lid is also painted gold.
If you look at the photos, you will see that no matter how you place the lid- it never quite fits.
