This real photo postcard is from the October 1912 Historical Week in Schuylerville, New York. October 1912 is also when the State of New York purchased the Schuyler Mansion, the home of General Philip Schuyler.

The small village of Schuylerville in the Town of Saratoga is one of the most historic villages of New York State. This photo shows several men in uniforms with tricorn hats and swords. Some swords are raised. I see three flags also in the center.

The photo is titled \"Calvary Comandry Schuylerville\" \"Historical Week 1912\". There were different military and historical events recognized in Schuylerville October 1912. Perhaps this was a line up for a parade?

The postcard was sent to Mr. Carl Holmquist Corning, NY. The note we believe is Swedish and the best we can decipher is,

\"I\'ve tried to feage, do you want to give me the address to Sofia, do you have it, or else ask Yenny, Father, and that you send it so fast, there are lots of neck wings coming forward, Carl Bergman, I also want Yenny\'s address, yes.\"
