A vintage 10 in. tall (25.5 cm) fine Schmid Linder of Lucerne, Switzerland (so stamped faintly on bottom)carving with polychrome painting depicting a night watchman with lantern/or hunter with powder horn. There is possibly a staff missing from the piece given the small round hole in the base. Even so a beautiful carving - most probably from the 1960s.
