Scarce Yankee 545 drill,Barber 2-jaw chuck on the ( [No.1545] 3/8" frame),5-position transmission.Factory set-up for Sq,tapered shank drill bits.original handle.🤠~1545 (3/8")drill is shown for size comparison.
~notice these have the shorter handle and smaller main gear used on the smaller frame drills.The barber chucks are usually encountered on the larger 1555 frame drill.~this drill is hard-to-come-by.~had this one for decades😎NOTE; if conversion to std 3/8" chuck is desired,it is necessary that chuck& main shaft would have to be changed out.the barber chuck & std 3-jaw use different threads.
