MAPLE LEAF GARDENS

Maple Leaf Gardens, located in Toronto, Ontario, is one of the most iconic sports arenas in Canada and played a pivotal role in the history of hockey. Opened in 1931, the Gardens served as the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL) until 1999. With a seating capacity that grew over the years to accommodate nearly 16,000 fans, Maple Leaf Gardens was known for its electric atmosphere and historic architecture, featuring a distinctive red-brick exterior and an art deco design.
