Antique Staffordshire Prattware Bacchus Satyr Face Jug Pitcher 19th c. Pearlware. We are pleased to offer from our personal collection this antique Staffordshire Pearlware Bacchus Satyr Face Jug / Pitcher. The painted face is in superb condition with only minimal amount of wear. The jug is all original with no restorations. One of the few found with a beautiful over-glaze enamel painted face, goatee, eyes, brows, ears, horns, teeth and grape wreath. The tree trunk knobs behind the face are painted with multi colors of iron red and gold with gols \"leaf\" motifs between. Truly a beautiful molded example. The pitcher is in excellent antique condition with NO repairs or retouching. If you have been searching for a great piece to have in your collection, take a look!A great example for the collector!
