SS FRANCE OCEAN LINER VINTAGE 14\" PLASTIC SCALE MODEL SHIP ON WOOD BASE:

Vintage scale model of the \"SS France\", the famed ocean liner that sailed for the French Line from 1962 through 1974.
This model ship is made of hard plastic and mounted to a wood base. The ship is extremely well detailed from the winged funnels to the reticulated windows. There are no visible maker\'s marks, and it likely dates from the 1960\'s-70\'s.
The ship itself measures 14\" long by 1.75\" wide by 3\" tall, and weighs almost 1/2 lb.
This ship is in good condition, but has a a few issues -the left front funnel wing is chipped; some of the letters are missing on the decktop \"FRANCE\" sign; some of the lifeboats are missing; one of the propellers is missing underneath. Please see photos for details.
