SMOKEMASTER “CUSTOM MADE” BRIARCRAFT c1941-1945, Great Color Estate Smoking Pipe.

Briarcraft Pipe Company was very prosperous between 1920 and 1940. They also produced a line of seconds under the following names: Airo, Arcadian, Briarmeer, Smokemaster, Cavalcade, Hallmark, Sterling Hall, and Wimbledon. They closed their doors in 1950. This is WW2 era pipe produced when briar was unavailable due to war restrictions. Made from an alternate material which has held up well for 80 years. Slight damage to tenon but still fits snuggly. Nice vintage pipe.

This pipe has a gorgeous flame grain coloring. Nomenclature on the left side of pipe shank includes:
