A lovely machine in great condition, as seen in the photosFully serviced (cleaned, oiled, new power cords added, and tested), and now ready for you*Many people use these in sewing tables, however if you need a carrying case we can let you know what we have available. She does not need to be in a table or a case in order to use.*
She has a few of the rare and special "Blackside" parts that Singer manufactured during WWII when they weren't allowed to use chromium. You can see these on this machine's pressure knob, stitch length thumb screw, needle holder, bobbin winder thread guide on the base of the machine, etc. Fun and unique! :)
She is a "Potted" machine, known for her strong, direct drive train (doesn't use a belt)She sews a wide variety of materials, including leather and denim as well as lighter dressmaking materialsThe electric cords to the wall plug and pedal are new, and she has the original Singer foot pedalShe has a working light fixture and features a large work areaShe comes with extra needles, bobbins, zipper foot, seam guide attachment, a fun 1950's Singer Sewing Skills reference book, and a printed copy of the original manual
This machine uses "low shank" attachments, which are readily and available and inexpensive online in case you want to add another specific one to your collection

The only cosmetic imperfection we notice is a tiny ding in the back of the motor cover - see closeups - not noticeable from the front and doesn't effect the use, but had to be mentioned ;-)Our Singer sewing machine consultant worked for Singer for years. He verified that this is a heavy duty machine, good for sewing denim, leather, etc. (at home, not in industrial amounts).
