HERITAGE SCHRADE + NY USA is the tang stamp. Pattern # 2941on back tang. Original Schrade USA knife, made in the Schrade factory inEllenville, New York. This is one of the bovine bone handled HERITAGE seriesknives, only made for about four years, 1983 to 86. This one was made in 1983 and is a “factory second” with anX marked over the tang stamp. Brass liners, nickel silver bolsters. Strong snap, no wobble on both blades. Sawcut green bovine bone handles have no cracks. Never used or sharpened – factory edges. The blades each have some light surface tarnish, finescratches on the factory finish. Minor handling rubs on the bolsters. The backsprings have a few tiny specks. No box. Great everyday carry knife, great pattern with Schrade +stainless steel blades. The handles on this knife were crafted from SouthAmerican Zebu cattle shin bone.
