Here is an award ribbon bar or pin that may be military related. It it a multicolored fabric ribbon bar or ribar, with metal center reading SCHOLASTIC EXCELLENCE. On the back is a screw type attachment button.
From online, this appears to be part of an award from the American Legion for ROTC personnel, for excellent acedemic performance. Normally the award also includes a medal; this sale does not include the medal but is for the decoration bar only.
Measures ~ 1 3/8\" long x 1/2\" wide x 3/8\" depth. Used, nice condition with knurled screw button on back for attachment to lapel, uniform, shirt, etc. This will make a nice addition to your collection.
