HISTORY: Camp Gordon was first established in Atlanta and later moved to Augusta. It was named after John Brown Gordon, a Confederate General. It later was changed to Fort Gordon and will soon become Fort Eisenhower since the US government has decided to sanitize our Confederate history and contributions.
