Lovell Designs of Maine is known for classy and classic metalwork and design, inspired by the work of 18th century pewterers. A chance meeting between Lisa and Bob of Astronomy To Go and artist Ken Kantro opened up a whole new avenue of ideas and possibilities, unlike anything else his studio had ever produced before...or since. Stepping away from jewelry and ornaments inspired by his love of the natural world around him, and giving him a chance to look up and explore the beauty and wonders of the Universe, he created an entire \"Space\" line exclusively for our Museum Shop. He enjoyed this chance to \"step out\" into the Universe as much as we enjoyed being able to present his talent to our customers. His own popularity and success, along with our own branching out has taken us in different directions, so we don\'t know if we will ever be able to get more of these beautiful pieces from him, so these may well be all we will ever be able to offer, but we can always hope to meet up again. Until then, these are all we have left.
