The item presented to your attention here is the clock from the transition compartment of the Soviet space station Salyut-6. Such a clock was installed on the control panel for the provision extra-vehicular activity.Salyut-6 was the first "second generation" space station, representing a major breakthrough in capability and operational success. The space station had two docking ports, allowing two spacecraft to visit it simultaneously. The six long-stay crews were supported by ten short-stay crews, who typically arrived on newer Soyuz spacecraft and departed on older spacecraft, leaving the newer spacecraft at the disposal of the permanent crew as a return vehicle. Besides manned crafts, the automatic cargo vehicles docked to the space station to supply it with fuel, water, food, intruments etc., bringing totally over 2 tons of payload and taking from the station waste and unnecessary equipment. Condition - very good working order, some scuffs on the body. COA can be issued for the buyer if necessary. Made for the early Soviet space program! Free global delivery!
