I think this teddy bear was fashioned after the Dakin teddy bear that looks just like him. When I did Google Lens and camera search, the Dakin bear is what kept coming up for like $40. I have priced mine as though he was a generic. However, he is still from early 1980\'s when I was a young girl. VERY nicely taken care of. No holes. Notice he does have a white string that has come out of his butt since I\'ve had him. It gave him character so I\'ve always left it there. Very soft plush fur and very squeezably cuddly too.
