Here\'s a scarce early S.LARNAC emb shoulder seal French wine bottle that we dug from an 1850-1865 privy pit in Louisiana..... S.LARNAC bold emb on drippy applied shoulder seal of glass....hand blown in mold....deep sunken smooth base....sheared lip with crude applied ring of glass....olive green...11 3/4\"tall....it has one sliver chip on top surface of lip; a couple shallow flakes on neck from when it was made; an open bubble near base on side; no other damage. A dug bottle with some light haze. Larnac is a town in France from where this wine bottle came from. ..
