Up for sale is “Romance in Butte”, a 10-minute 1916 silent film shot in Butte, Montana and reproduced on DVD by Old Butte Publishing in 2005. Plot: the hero foils two hoods who try to blow up their bosses’ family after they were fired, the hero marries the bosses’ daughter and they go off to honeymoon in Rocker. Many scenes of historical locales in Butte, and thousands of Butte citizens appear as extras - if your family lived in Butte in 2016, they are probably in this movie. Included on the disc is an identification of the locations in Butte of the various scenes. In like new condition, watched once or twice but, as is the case with many old movies, the image quality is not great.Please have a close look at the photos which show the actual item for sale, judge condition for yourself and ask any questions before offerding.
