A ROBERT E. LEE CIVIL WAR DATE AUTOGRAPH ROBERT E. LEE (1807-1870). Lee was the General-in-chief of theConfederate forces during the Civil War.He supervised West Point from 1852 to 1855. Signature. 3” x 1 ½”. No date. Noplace. An ink signature “R ELee Genl Comdg” removed from a larger Civil War-dated document. It is matted in brown with gold accents withan image of the general. It is framed toan overall size of 10” x 14”.
