Rare antique souvenir plate from Ridgefield, Ct. The plate depicts the \"Business Section\" Main Street, (looking south I think). I don\'t recognize any of the buildings, except there is a three story building that might have been where Bedients was, but not sure.There\'s a tall elm tree, and a horse drawn buggy. Not sure of the age, but it is likely pre-automobile.
The plate is small, 6 3/8\" diameter, has a gold rim around the outside. The image is kind of a greenish blue. There is some staining and the plate does have some crazing. Marked \"Semi Porcelain\" on the back. Certainly a rare item for a devoted Ridgefield memorabilia collector. Local pickup certainly welcome. thanks for looking.
