Rice\'s Flower Seed box.
Measures approximately 11 x 7 x 4.5 inches.
Hinges and latch are present and working. This box doesn\'t have an interior piece to keep the box open (other boxes often do) but it doesn\'t appear that it is missing and the lid stays open on its own.
Condition of the lithograph is excellent. It is sticking out from the back, probably because the only adhesive was on the edges, but there is really no damage except a pencil notation in the lower right corner. This litho is interesting because the sides contain listings of seed varieties.
Condition of the wood box is excellent. There are no visible cracks. A few scuffs, mostly on the top of the box, but the finish is nice and smooth. I\'m not a wood expert but this wood is higher quality that most seed boxes -- possibly cherry? This is a really hard one to let go from my personal collection.
