This listing includes my new Replacement Skee Computer, a Modern-style Skee Score display, and an 8-sensor optical sensor system. I assembled this listing for those interested in buying all the electronics needed to assemble a home-brew skee ball style game.
About the Replacement Skee Computer
Released in 2023, this is a completely redesigned computer for the iconic skee ball lanes from the 1980\'s and 1990\'s. It is an arcade-quality replacement for the original computers in these games.

About the Modern-style Skee Score Display
Because the Replacement Skee Computer does not support the original Skee-branded mini-bulb or LED displays, one modern-style Skee Score Display is included in this listing. These boards replace the original printed circuit boards (PCBs) that used mini-bulbs to display the game score and balls played. The new display effect resembles the large roadside electronic pricing displays used by gas stations - eachleg of the seven-segment digit display is constructed from a string of individual LEDs. You willreceive:

One Skee Score PCB: This is the score display board. It uses a micro-controller that is running software I wrote to convert the computer\'s data stream into score digits presented to the game\'s player. I thoughtfully designed this board to replace the original PCB and the original display baffle. It easily attaches into existing mounting holes using 4 clips I provide with your purchase (see photo highlighting mounting clip). The wiring harness is identical to the original mini-bulb display board so you can simply unplug the old one from your machine\'s computer and plug in the Skee Score replacement. You will need to remove the original display PCB to install this replacement.
One Skee Ball-Count PCB: This is the ball count display board. It also uses a micro-controller running software I wrote to convert the incoming data stream into the ball count presented to the game\'s player. I designed it to connect directly to the Baffle-free Score Display so the two boards install as a single unit into your game.

About the Skee Optical Switches
Finally, this listing includes an 8-sensor Skee Optical Switch system. I\'ve developed the complete system consisting of a master controller board and up to 8 sensors. The small infra-red (IR) transmitter/sensor module fits in theexact footprintof each original mechanical switch. These connect via CAT5 cables to my Master Board which runs custom software for monitoring the sensors and reporting activity to the Skee computer.
