For sale today is the rare, out-of-print (oop) double/flip edition crossover Wildstorm/DC Comics trade paperback (tpb)/graphic novel Red, and Tokyo Storm Warning, both by Warren Ellis, published in 2004. It collects issues #1-3 of each series, and each starts on an opposite cover, upside-down from the other.- Collects Red (2003) #1-3 and Tokyo Storm Warning (2003) #1-3. Written by Warren Ellis. Art and covers by Cully Hamner, James Raiz and Carlos D\'Anda. The series of Warren Ellis flip-book trade paperbacks continues in this volume, reprinting the explosive espionage-thriller RED and the action-packed giant-robot adventure of TOKYO STORM WARNING! In RED, Ellis and artist Cully Hamner (BATMAN: TENSES) bring us a stark tale of revenge, as retired CIA killer Paul Moses finds himself forced back into the game to gain revenge on the agency that trained him! In TOKYO STORM WARNING, Ellis joins James Raiz (Transformers) for a tale of giant robots taking on atomic monsters in Japan\'s capital city in a desperate clash for survival and supremacy!
I am not an official comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don\'t believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does copy is in very good condition, with a solid spine and excellent inside pages (photos#12,13 examples of each story). It has few and lesser signs of primarily external wear.
**Photo#4:-Upper spine corner: Scuffs where it meets each cover.
**Photo#5:-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing.
**Photo#6:-Front cover top edge:Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~5 pages lightly.
**Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner:Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~5 pages lightly.
**Photo#8:-Back cover top edge:Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~3 pages as a light indent, and ~1/3 as a light bend.
**Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge:Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner:Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/4 pages as a light bend.
**Additionally: Front cover\'s spine edge possesses 2 small indents // ~1/2\" depression near its middle (photo#10 w/illumination). 2 tiny dings/indents around the cover. Both covers have some light shelf-scuffing around. Book has a light bottom outer quadrant flex/bend both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack any books between pieces of cardboard, with either a bubble or cardboard mailer, or a box for larger lots.
