Reate Knives Tashi Bharucha Krypton #2 Satin CPM-154 with Timascus Inlay:
$600.00

Never cut or carried, in like new condition with the box/pouch and everything it came with.

Inspired by the infamous crystal kryptonite, the Tashi Bharucha Design Krypton offers the custom makers iconic style with precision manufactured construction and the innovative Lee Williams Kickstop flipper (licensed by Lee). The sweeping lines of the handle and harpoon blade are all Tashi, maintained in all their glory by the hidden flipper when opened while still delivering excellent deployment thanks to the pivoting design. This stunning knife is out of this world. This mini version comes with a satin finished, 3 inch CPM-154 blade and blasted titanium handles with Mokuti inlay.

Brand new, direct from Tashi Bharucha Design.

Blade: Fully flat ground CPM-154 stainless steel comes with an eye-catching hand rubbed satin finish that pairs perfectly with the dual fullers and harpoon profile. The high flat grind offers superb slicing performance while the wide forward edge excels at piercing tasks, fine work and controlled cutting on flat surfaces. A bearing pivot and Lee Williams Kickstop flipper offer and innovate yet familiar deployment that is pleasant and functional. At just under 4 mm thick the 3-inch blade offers plenty of cutting power in a compact package.

Handle: A familiar faux integral design seamlessly matches two slabs of fine blasted, matte gray titanium in a rock solid frame lock construction. The front has a clean, flush pivot cap and a thin inlay of striking Mokuti accentuating the flowing lines of this sleek design with a scintillating color contrast. The reverse is cut for an integral frame lock equipped with a hardened steel lock face for secure, reliable lock up and safe operation. Both slabs are aesthetically contoured for a comfortable grip with an inline lanyard hole at the pommel. A sub 4 ounce weight makes this an ideal option for dress or daily carry.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, 3D machined titanium pocket clip.

CPM-154: is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
