This Hadrosaur Egg was brought back from China decades ago and has been in my family all those years./.kvv/ It is no longer legal to take these eggs from China so they are becoming harder to find. The base matrix was removed and the egg shell was varnished to reduce the size and weight of the Egg for shipping to the United States and to make the Egg more durable during shipping. The Egg weighs 4 pounds 14.6oz. or 4.9 pounds. The weight is also 2 kg 231 grams or 2,231 grams. The size is 6.3 inches by 5.4 inches and 3 1/2 inches high. In millimeters the Egg is 160x130x90mm. This is a Large Hadrosaur Egg but the weight and size measure less than others due to not having the nest matrix which can double the weight and size of the Egg. There are several areas where the outside shell has chipped away. I think the egg is more interesting when you see what is under the shell. The box will be shipped with signature required for delivery.
