One group of three Vietnam era USAF patches, including two very rare Vietnamese made squadron patches. The Sweenie's Weenies patch is from the 4400th CCTS / Combat Crew Training Squadron (Farm Gate). See the last photo for a short description of that unit found online. This would have been from 1961-1963. The aircraft used by the squadron at this time were the T-28 Trojan, B-26 Invader, and AC-47 Spooky. The squadron performed special operations or air commando type missions while deployed to Bien Hoa Air Base, South Vietnam. The Bird Dog patch is likely from the 19th TASS / Tactical Air Support Squadron. This patch is a morale type or spoof patch, just for fun to wear on a party suit or "Friday" patch as some call it. The squadron flew the L-19 (later O-1) aircraft, calling it the F-19 because the FAC combat missions flown were similar to those performed with fighter aircraft. The TAC patch is US made, and the other two patches are Vietnamese made. The two unique patch designs are based around the TAC / Tactical Air Command insignia, modified by each unit. All three patches were glued to a paper backing in a frame and unfortunately have glue and paper residue on the back. This could be removed very carefully, however I have left them alone to prevent any damage.
