Here\'s a great looking and rare SR-71A Artifact from the crash of #61-7965 near Death Valley, California on 12-18-69. This \"Blackbird\" was returning from a mission when the pilot heard a strange sound coming from the engine while over the Pacific Ocean. When he heard it a second time he ordered his Navigator to eject and both of them did so safely. They came down in Death Valley near the town of Shoshone, California.
The aircraft which was headed for its Area 51 base in Nevada when it crashed. USAF Clean-up crews spent two weeks scouring the area for parts from this \"Top Secret\" crash. This particular part became buried from the crash impact and eluded the clean-up crew. This unique artifact from the famous SR-71A \"Spyplane will most likely attract a lot of Buyer attention - So if it appeals to you - be the one to get it!
