For sale is a rare pre-1937 Liverpool Scottish Sporran, with the soldier's name and number written on the back that provide possible Great War provenance.
It is in very good condition for its age, but there is wear to the leather top, and the button for the rear pocket is missing.
On the back is the name "G.T. Orlon" and the number "7329" or "7324", as well as his company and unit ID. I did some preliminary research on him and believe that he enlisted in the 2/10 Battalion around 1916, and did not see any overseas service, although buyers should verify this on their own as the number and name could be read in different ways.
