I have for your consideration a rare mold and Beautiful Blue colored 1850’s pontil blob top soda bottle. The bottle is embossed J. CAIRNS & CO ST.LOUIS . This bottle was dug from a 1850’s privy several years ago in downtown St.Louis Missouri . The bottle was lightly cleaned and looks great! It still retains some minor wear and does have a inside lip bruise likely from prying the cork out years ago on a 100 degree day. You are only buying the bottle on the right in the picture. These colored Pontil soda’s just don’t come up for sale anymore because there is not any digging going on in St.Louis and most of these bottles are locked away in collections.
