Rare LIMOGES TRINKET BOX Volkswagen LTD ED 114/2500 VTG Woodstock Hippy VW CAR This one is a true treasure for collectors! It’s 1969 and this vintage yellow VW is headed to Woodstock! The brightly colored car is hand-painted (Peint Main) with purple, blue and green flowers on both sides, a Peace sign on the hood of the car, and the words “Peace and Love” and “Woodstock” with musical notes on the back of the car. Coming out through the sunroof is a hippie man playing his guitar, and a girl smoking a joint is in the driver’s seat. The gold bird clasp closes securely. The bottom of the box is hand-painted “Limoges France, Peint main, P.V. (artist’s initials), Edition 2001, 114/2500”. Made in France. Excellent pre-owned vintage condition, no chips or cracks.
