Duke and Duchess of Windsor royal stationary / letterhead, unused, featuring the dual royal cipher and embossed seal of H.R.H. Prince / Duke of Windsor Edward VIII and H.R.H. Duchess of Windsor Wallis Windsor. Stationary measures 9.25\" x 7.5\". Embossed in silver leaf. Condition is original. Royal provenance is Sotheby\'s 1997 sale. This stationary is from the private residence of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor in France, post abdication. Paper type is laid. Museum quality. Authentic and correct.

Wallis, Duchess of Windsor (born Bessie Wallis Warfield, later Simpson; June 19, 1896 – April 24, 1986), was an American socialite and wife of the former King Edward VIII. Their intention to marry and her status as a divorcée caused a constitutional crisis that led to Edward\'s abdication.
