This screwdriver was designed for heavy work. The handle is hinged so that it can be turned at right angles, giving irresistible leverage that will turn the most obstinate screw. For ordinary work, the handle can be turned to its regular position. A strong spring inside the handle holds it rigidly in either position.
Overall good, working condition. Spring on the hinged handle is very strong and snaps in and out of position easily. See photos for condition. Image number 2 taken from the 1939 Crescent tools catalog No. 23
