Here a Super rare over 13.2 carat Phantom Matrix opal. White opal with many colours with Hughes of bright red, captured in a transparent Crystal Matrix. Very rare and definitely a collectors item

Phantom opals are very rare, and usually dull and plain, with a white or black centre. The dimensions are, 20.7mm, 14.6, 4.9 High dome, perfect for a pendant setting.

Bought this opal freeform Mintabe stone many years ago from Australia, not taking much notice of what I had purchased.

I have my collection in safe deposit box, and totally forgot about this amazing opal specimen.

The pictures do it no justice, as it is sparkling very bright in all colours and bright red flashes throughout, showing pink on the photo in dots. Definitely the brightest Australian white opal I ever seen. I handled a few stones over the years.

Time for someone to make this super rare opal into jewellery for a special gift.
