December 31, 1937 issue of Radio Guide, the precursor to TV Guide!! Disney\'s feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was just released in theaters. The Lux Radio Theater was to present a radio version of the story and to promote it, Walt Disney designed and illustrated special cover art featuring Dopey for the Christmas issue. Full page article inside on \"The Story Behind the Cover\" is very interesting.
This issue is a compelling read! There is a feature article called \"Television: Boom or Bubble\" which predicts that television will never catch on and the enormous expense of television broadcasting will limit program hours.
Photos and radio broadcast schedules take you back to a simpler time! This would be an AMAZING addition to any collector\'s cache (and you know who you are!).
**NOTE- This publication is 86 years old and made of paper. There is yellowing of pages, some small tears to the edges and page corners missing. The pages are all readable and the issue is not missing any pages. The PAGES ARE VERY FRAGILE AND NEED TO BE HANDLED WITH CARE!**
