A HIGH QUALITY PIECE OF CLAY ART FROM A PUEBLO THAT PRODUCES VERY LITTLE POTTERY.IT IS QUITE RARE to find a piece of NAMBE pottery.Robert Vigil (b.1965) grew up at Nambe Pueblo. He learned to make pottery in 1990 with Nambe potters Virginia Gutierrez, Lonnie Vigil, and San Ildefonso Pueblo potter Juan Tafoya. He specializes in micaceous pottery, which is either plain or carved.THIS POT HAS A GORGEOUS MICACEOUS SLIP AND IS ACCENTED WITH BUTTERFLY CARVED DESIGNS.
