(1902-71) RARE VINTAGE SIGNED CARD, \"For Doug Norwine/Bestwishes, Bob Jones\", blue ballpoint signature, on an off-white 3 x 5 card,by the American amateur golfer who was one of the most influential figures inthe sport. Jonesfounded and helped design Augusta National Golf Club,and co-founded the Masters Tournament.Jones was the most successfulamateur golfer ever to compete at a national and international level. When heretired from golf at age 28, he concentrated on his Atlanta law practice. This rarevintage-signed card is inscribed to Doug Norwine, the American baritone saxplayer, who played Lisa Simpson’s saxophone on the albums The Simpsons Sing the Blues(1990) and The Yellow Album (1998). Norwinehas also played with many music greats, including Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, FrankSinatra, Paul McCartney, to name just a few. Come with an 8 x 10 glossy photoof Jones.
