Let me begin by stating that this bottle was never on board Titanic and not in her wreckage.
This is a beautiful Vintage example and rare with an almost 100% Intact label.
I have bought and sold a few of these over the years, but 99 percent of them have no label, or the label is badly damaged, or the bottle is cracked.
As a collectible relic goes, this one checks all of the boxes
This label is magnificent.
The bottle is in almost pristine condition, less the stopper.
In 2023, RMSTI, published a magazine called RMS TITANIC, THE TRUE STORY.
On page 41 You will find the story of the Recovered Auxilator Hair Tonic.
Passenger, Franz Pulbaum, age 27 was a mchinist by trade. He boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg as a second class passenger. Toe reach his destination, New York, he purchased ticket SC/ PARIS 2168, for L15 Os 8d.
Franz Pulbaum died in the sinking. His body was never recovered.However, almost a century later, his travel bag was recovered from the Titanic wreckage. In it was his bottle of Westphaul's Auxiliator Hair Tonic.
This bottle is a very rare example that will look stunning in your collection.
I am including a copy of the magazine, which you may wish to exhibit with your bottle.
If you give Titanic presentations or talks, this would make a Great piece to discuss.
Look carefully at the pictures, you won't find a cleaner example.
