Really tough to find old skillets, especially in this nice of shape. The cook surface is free from rust, no warping and no cracks that I could find. It rings well, and is overall super solid for the age. I’m selling it un-cleaned, unconditioned so the buyer can get this beauty back to life in the best way possible. The bottom of the skillet isn’t quite as nice as the cook surface, having some rust buildup- but I believe the majority of what you see on the bottom is actually carbon. I was unable to find a maker or mold mark on the bottom of the skillet, but with the thick carbon that doesn’t really surprise me. A lot of these were unmarked, too.

I included a picture from the 2002 blue book, please realize the values have changed in the last 22 years. Nonetheless, it was a rare skillet then and is rarer now.

As long as you treat it right, this skillet will probably last another hundred years!

(Disclaimer, since this skillet has a thick layer of carbon build up I haven’t been able to 100% confirm there is no damage to the piece. I really don’t think there is, but understand it’s 120 years old.. so there’s always the risk. I tried to price it accordingly, to make sure it’s still a good buy for anyone interested)
