For sale is a RARE John Deere chess/checkers employee award set. These do not come up for sale often! The board is made from engraved wood and some sort of green stone. I do not know what type of stone it is. There are natural "imperfections" on the board in the stone. The bottom of the board is made out of a hard cardboard/fiberboard. The bottom is indented where the rubber feet are. This is from the weight of the board. The pieces are metal and may have some fingerprints and/or surface scratches on them. This is a very nicely crafted board! It weighs close to 10 pounds. The outer box does show many signs of wear. Some of the corners on the lid and bottom are torn and worn.The box also does have signs of wear such as scuffs, scratches, dents, impressions, dust, etc..Please look at the pictures for actual condition of the item.
