A rare, fine locality specimen composed of sparkling dark brown descloizite crystals with calcite is seen here from Erupción Mine, Los Lamentos Mts, Chihuahua, Mexico. The descloizite is well formed, has a high luster and shimmers nicely. There are two parts to the video, and the last one shows how glittery it is in person. This is an uncommon mineral and the association with calcite is even rarer. The calcite fluoresces white under UV light. This comes from an older find and pieces these days are not as easy to find.
