Exceedingly rare Royal or Reale Automobile Club of Italy Car Registration grille badge marker. I believe it\'s from 1940, and is marked by the maker \"C. Paccagniini\" of Milano. I couldn\'t find another example of this badge online, so doubt the number \"17213\" was a true indicator of membership or number of badges produced. It\'s in very good condition as shown, and appears complete. I beleive the metal strap/loop on the reverse was intended to affix this to a car, perhaps on the grille.
